Elite scoring and winning habits are characteristics two players chosen at the top of the 2018 OHL Priority Selection by the Oshawa Generals possess.

Needless to say the club hopes that the qualities most synonymous with Ty Tullio and Dylan Robinson will translate at the next level.

Tullio was chosen with the 11th overall pick after lighting the lamp all season long with the Vaughan Kings recording 38 goals and 51 assists for 89 points in 50 games.  He added another 10 points in OHL Cup action helping the Kings advance all the way to the Championship Final.  The son of Generals owner Rocco Tullio, Ty officially committed to the club in April.

Robinson was chosen 28th overall after scoring 29 goals and 55 assists for 84 points in 55 games played with the Toronto Jr. Canadiens.  He elevated his game at the OHL Cup and was named Tournament MVP with 11 points in a championship effort.  The younger brother of former OHL’er Brandon Robinson, Dylan officially committed to the club in May.

Both players competed together at the 2018 OHL Gold Cup where their winning ways followed them to Kitchener as gold medal winners with GTHL Blue.

Next up for the pair is Hockey Canada’s National Men’s Summer Under-17 Development Camp from July 21-27 in Calgary where they’ll compete along with Generals fourth round pick Dawson McKinney.

The Generals also made two selections in the third round including forward Ryan Gagnier of the Sun County Panthers (50th overall), and defenceman David Gucciardi of the Don Mills Flyers (54th overall).
