Eight Gens Attending NHL Development Camps

Oshawa, ON—After a successful weekend for the Generals seeing three players joining various National Hockey League teams at the NHL Entry Draft in Dallas, TX , players now look ahead to development camps taking place this week and next with their respected clubs.

Generals Serron Noel (Florida Panters), Allan McShane (Montreal Canadiens) and Nico Gross (New York Rangers) who were taken in the 2018 Entry Draft will take part in their first NHL team development camps.

Noel (2nd Round, 34th Overall) will travel to Florida and attend the Panther’s camp in Coral Springs, Florida from June 26th-29th. See the full Panther’s camp detail and rosters – click here!


The Gens second player taken in the draft, McShane (4th Round, 97th Overall) will travel to Brossard, QC later this week to take part in the Canadiens camp from June 28th-July 1st.

The final Gen to go in the 2018 draft was Gross (4th Round, 101st Overall), who is already in New York for the Rangers camp at the MSG Training Centre. Running until June 29th, Gross and other Rangers draftees will take the ice. See the Rangers full camp details and roster—click here!

Also attending camps this week and next are Gens who were drafted in the 2017 NHL Entry Draft. Jack Studnicka (2nd Round, 53rd Overall) and Kyle Keyser (Free Agent) will travel to Boston to attend the Bruins development camp from June 26th-29th. This will be the second camp for the duo with the Bruins.

Matt Brassard (7th Round, 188th Overall) take part in the off-ice activities with the Vancouver Canucks at their Summer Development Camp July 2nd-5th as he is still recovering from an injury.

Two Gens have been invited as a Free Agents to NHL Camps, Kyle MacLean and Renars Krastenbergs.

Kyle MacLean has been invited to attend the New York Islanders Mini Camp from June 26th-30th as he will take part in daily skates, scrimmages and on and off the ice work out works.

Krastenbergs will travel to Pittsburgh to take part in the Penguins Development Camp from June 27th-29th. This is his first invite to a NHL Development Camp.
