Generals trade Michaud to Niagara IceDogs

Oshawa, Ont., – The Oshawa Generals have traded forward Daniel Michaud to the Niagara IceDogs in exchange for a 3rd round pick in 2025 and a 6th round pick in 2023.

Michaud was selected in the 2nd round, 23rd overall in the 2019 OHL draft. He played 50 games for the Generals as a rookie in the 2019-20 season, recording one goal and six assists.

This season, Michaud has four goals and seven assists in 27 games. He recorded an assist in his last game with the Generals on Sunday against the Sudbury Wolves.

This is the second trade between Oshawa and Niagara in the past week after the Generals acquired Cameron Butler for picks last Monday.

The Generals organization would like the thank Daniel for everything he did here in Oshawa and wish him nothing but the best in Niagara.
