Generals Look For Second Straight Win Against Bulldogs

The Oshawa Generals are set for their first pre-season game at Tribute Communities Centre tonight as they host the Hamilton Bulldogs.

This is the second game of a back-to-back against Hamilton to open the pre-season. The Generals won the first game last night in Hamilton by a score of 5-4.

It was indeed an exciting way to open the pre-season, as the Generals came back from a 4-1 deficit in the third period to tie the game thanks to goals by David Jesus, Ty Tullio, and Ryan Stepien. Goaltender Patrick Leaver then stopped 4 of 5 shots in the shootout to secure the victory.

Head Coach Todd Miller will be dressing an almost identical roster to the one that played last night. The only real change comes in the net, as the two goaltenders dressing tonight will be Zachary Paputsakis and Carter Bickle.

Tonight’s game will be the first time the Generals have played at home in front of their fans since March 1st, 2020, as one thousand seats have been made available for fans.

Puck drop is scheduled for 6:05 pm.
