Generals Acquire Hayden Fowler from the Erie Otters in Exchange for Draft Selections

Oshawa, ON– The Oshawa Generals announced today that they have traded draft selections to the Erie Otters for forward Hayden Fowler.

Generals receive:

  • Forward Hayden Fowler

Generals trade:

  • 2nd Round Selection in 2022 (KIT)
  • 3rd Round Selection in 2024 (MISS)
  • 5th Round Conditional Selection in 2022 (NIA)


“I wanted to add a top 4 defencemen or a top 6 forward during the 2020 CHL Import Draft this past June”, said Vice President and General Manager, Roger Hunt. “With the addition of Mudrak filling our defence during the Import Draft, Hayden now makes our top 6 complete. I have watched Hayden from the first time he was a minor midget in Kingston and then being drafted into the OHL. I am excited for our fans to see him wearing Gens colours.”


Fowler was a first round selection of the Soo Greyhounds in the 2017 Ontario Hockey League Priority Selection. In the 2019-20 season, in 52 games, Fowler recorded 42 points.
