Generals Acquire Goaltender Jordan Kooy from the Sarnia Sting in Exchange for Draft Selections

Oshawa, ON- The Oshawa Generals announced today they have acquired goaltender Jordan Kooy from the Sarnia Sting in exchange for draft selections.

Generals receive:

  • Goaltender Jordan Kooy

Generals trade:

  • WSR 2nd round selection in 2020
  • OSH 5th round selection in 2022
  • KIT 3rd round selection 2024 (conditional)

The London Knights drafted Kooy in the eighth round, 160th overall in the 2016 OHL Priority Selection and he is currently in his third Ontario Hockey League season. The 6’3, 191-pound goaltender was a draft selection of the Vegas Golden Knights at the 2018 National Hockey League Draft. He will join the Generals ahead of this weekend’s road trip to Windsor and Sarnia.

Kooy will wear #31 with the team.
