Danil Antropov Commits to the Oshawa Generals

Oshawa, Ontario – The Oshawa Generals are excited to announce that Danil Antropov has committed to the Generals.

“We are excited to have Danil commit to the club so early,” says Roger Hunt, Vice President and General Manager of the Oshawa Generals. “Danil can now concentrate on the summer ahead; he will be able to come into camp fully prepared for the Generals 80th Season.”

Antropov is a 6’1, 181 lb right-winger who played his minor midget hockey with the Toronto Marlboros. In 63 games he scored 43 goals and 39 assists for 82 points. Playing in the OHL Cup, Antropov helped lead his team to the gold medal game with 10 points in seven games played. Antropov was drafted 6th overall by the Generals in the 2016 OHL Priority Selection on April 9th.

Antropov will be representing the Generals and the Toronto Marlboros at the OHL Gold Cup. The tournament will start on May 4th and end on May 8th. Antropov will play on Team GTHL Blue. The tournament will take place in Kitchener, Ontario.
