On February 12th, the Generals hosted a Super Hero Night when they took on the North Bay Battalion. The event was in support of the Children’s Wish Foundation of Canada, and a special Wish child named Emma Kenyon. The game was presented by 94.9 The Rock and feature themed jerseys and a special guest, the Brampton Batman.
The Children’s Wish Foundation of Canada is the largest all Canadian wish granting charity dedicated to granting wishes to Canadian children between the ages of 3 and 17 who are diagnosed with a life-threatening illness. For more than 30 years, Children’s Wish has worked tirelessly to grant heartfelt wishes to nearly 25,000 children and their families.
The Oshawa Generals game-worn Super Hero jerseys are being auctioned online, proceeds from the jersey auction will benefit Children’s Wish Foundation.
The jersey was designed by the Oshawa Generals and produced by Catstich, an Ontario-based jersey manufacturer who specializes in theme jerseys for hockey teams. The jerseys were inspired by a collection of beloved Super Hero characters and themes. The colours used are those traditional to the storied franchise. The Generals logo was used as an emblem and placed in the center of the chest. Matching socks were created to finish the special uniform that the players will dawn on this special night.

The Jerseys will be auctioned on Ebay and the auction will last for 7 days.
