Oshawa, ON- The Florida Panthers Hockey Club announced today they have signed 2018 second round selection, Serron Noel, to a three-year National Hockey League entry-level contract
Drafted in the 2nd Round (34th overall) in the 2018 NHL Entry Draft, the 6’5, 210-pound forward attended the Panthers rookie camp following the draft and was invited to training camp last September before being returned to the Generals.
The Ottawa, ON native, is currently in his third season with the Generals having a career year. Sitting third in team scoring, this season he has amassed a total of 75 points (32 goals, 43 assists) in 62 games, establishing himself as a power forward and one of the fastest players in the Ontario Hockey League in the process.
Noel has appeared on the international stage three times in his junior career, representing Canada at the U17 Hockey Challenge, the Hlinka Gretzky Cup and the U18 World Hockey Championship.
