Renars Krastenbergs to Play for Latvia at U20 World Championship in France

Generals forward Renars Krastenbergs will travel to France this week to suit up with Team Latvia at the U20 World Junior Championship qualifying tournament.
Latvia was relegated from the U20 World Junior Championship tournament last year, sending them to play this year in the Division I tournament in Courchevel and Meribel France. Running from December 10th-16th, Latvia will be in Group A with Austria, France, Germany, Hungary and Kazakhstan. Winner of each Group A and Group B will return to the U20 World Junior Championship for the 2019 tournament in Vancouver, Canada.
Krastenbergs suited up for Team Latvia at the 2017 U20 World Junior Championships earning player of the game honours against Canada and finishing the tournament with 3G and 1A for 4PTS in 6GP.
