Oshawa Generals Goaltending Consultant Michael Lawrence has been selected as an instructor for Hockey Canada’s seventh-annual Program of Excellence goaltending camp at the WinSport Canada Athletic & Ice Complex in Calgary from June 7-10.

Lawrence will serve as one of eight instructors at the camp.  He has worked with Hockey Canada previously, serving as part of the coaching staff at Team Canada’s World Junior summer evaluation camp in 2011.

The four day camp allows the selected goaltenders a chance to work with exceptional instructors to help further their development and prepare for international competition. His wealth of experience also includes time spent with HC Sibir Novosibirksi on the Kontinental Hockey League, as well as the Owen Sound Attack and Sudbury Wolves of the Ontario Hockey League.
