Game Preview: Oshawa vs. London – HOME OPENER

At last! Your Generals are finally home to officially open the 2017-18 regular season Sunday night at the Tribute Communities Centre against the London Knights.

The Gens began the season on the road when they took on Sudbury, Sault Ste. Marie, Peterborough, and Guelph respectively. They posted a 2-2 record, where they started hot winning their first two games outscoring their opponents 15-6 and dropping their last two earlier this weekend.

Last season the Gens faced off against the Knights twice with London taking both games. However this year the Generals will look to take advantage of their home opener and feed off the energy of Gens Nation.

The Generals hope utilize home ice to get back into the win column as Sunday’s home opener marks the first of three consecutive games at the Tribute Communities Centre. After Sunday’s home opener against the Knights the Gens will take on the Niagara IceDogs on Friday October 6th at 7:35pm followed by the Hamilton Bulldogs on Friday October 13th at 7:35pm. Make sure to pick up an Oshawa Generals magnet schedule on your way out this evening to help you keep track of this seasons games!

Keep an eye out for our Special Game Nights this season which include: Pucks 4 Wounded Warriors, the 20th Annual Teddy Bear Toss, the Meridian Jamboree, and the Rodman’s Family Day Game.
