Gross and Eggenberger to Join Future Generals Hockey Camp as Coaches
The Future Generals Hockey Camp is excited to announce Nico Gross and Nando Eggenberger as coaches. They will be joining Mitchell Brewer and Nick Wong as confirmed coaches, along with members of the Oshawa Generals coaching staff for what is sure to be an exciting week for all campers attending. The Future Generals Hockey Camp is being held on August 20th -24th at the Tribute Communities Centre.
Gross spent last season with the Oshawa Generals, collecting 4 goals and 10 assists in 58 games. This past season, Gross appeared in the Sherwin-Williams Top Prospect game in Guelph and represented his country at the World Junior Hockey Championships in Buffalo, NY as an assistant captain for Team Switzerland. In June, he was selected in the 4th round 101st overall by the New York Rangers.
Eggenberger spent last season in the NLA with HC Davos in Switzerland. Like Gross, Eggenberger represented his country at the World Junior Hockey Championships, where he was selected as team captain. The Chur, Switzerland native was drafted by the Generals this past June in the CHL Import Draft. The 6’2, 185 lbs left shot forward will join the Generals for the 2018-19 season.
The Future Generals Hockey Camp is open to players of all skill levels, aged seven to thirteen, where they are given the unique opportunity to develop their skills both on and off the ice with Oshawa Generals players and members of the coaching staff.
As a bonus to campers, Procut will be back this year offering complimentary on-site skate sharpening during the camp!
