The Generals are back in action tonight against the Niagara IceDogs after an exciting and entertaining home opener on Sunday night. The Generals emerged victorious against the Knights in a game that featured a parade to the penalty box which saw 6 of the 9 goals scored come on the man advantage.

Last season the Generals were 2-0 against the Niagara IceDogs and will look to continue their win streak tonight. The IceDogs were off to an impressive start winning their first three games, until the Peterborough Petes handed them their first loss of the season, 8-4. The Generals haven’t played since their home opener on Sunday while the IceDogs will be playing their second game in as many nights as they faced the Sudbury Wolves in 5-2 loss last night. The Gens will look to take advantage of their fresh legs and a tired IceDogs squad.

Next Friday October 13th will begin a busy weekend of hockey for the Generals as they take on the Hamilton Bulldogs at 7:35pm at the Tribute Communities Centre. Then they will head out on the road on Saturday where they will face the Owen Sound Attack at 7:30pm. To wrap up the weekend the Gens are back home to play the Sudbury Wolves at 6:05pm.
