First Coaches Announced for 2019 Future Generals Hockey Camp

The Future Generals Hockey Camp announces Brett Harrison and Daniel Michaud as coaches. They’re the first coaches announced for this year’s camp, along with members of the Oshawa Generals coaching staff for what is sure to be an exciting week for all campers attending. The Future Generals Hockey Camp is being held on August 19th -23rd at the Tribute Communities Centre.

Harrison spent last season with the London Junior Knights and scored 42 goals and 21 assists in 33 games played. Harrison was drafted by the Generals in the first round, 16th overall in the 2019 OHL Priority Selection. At the OHL Cup this past season, Harrison suited up for team Alliance and scored 2 goals and 3 assists, on his way to winning the Bronze medal.

Michaud spent last season with the Quinte Red Devils Minor Midget AAA and scored 21 goals and 20 assists in 36 games. Michaud was drafted by the Generals in the second round, 23rd overall in the 2019 OHL Priority Selection draft. At the OHL Gold Cup this season, Michaud played for Team OMHA White scoring a goal and two assists in 4 games.

The Future Generals Hockey Camp is open to players of all skill levels, aged seven to thirteen, where they are given the unique opportunity to develop their skills both on and off the ice with Oshawa Generals players and members of the coaching staff.
