Dawson McKinney Commits to Generals

Oshawa, ON– The Oshawa Generals announced today that forward Dawson McKinney has committed to an Ontario Hockey League standard player agreement with the Hockey Club.

The 5’11, 154-pound forward participated in the Gens orientation camp this past April, attended the OHL Gold Cup with OMHA White and he was on Team Green at the U17 Development Camp in July before attending the Generals training camp end of August.

The Binbrook, ON native was the 4th Round, 64th Overall Selection by the Gens in the 2018 OHL Priority Selection. Last season with the Hamilton Jr. Bulldogs, he had 24 points in 27 games. He currently is playing Junior B with the St. Catherine’s Falcons in the GOJHL.
